Last-Mile Delivery in PA, OH, NY & NJ

Box-truck last-mile delivery for shippers, 3PLs, and brands across the Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York, and New Jersey corridor. Same-day capacity, signature confirmation, and live driver contact.

What it is

Last-Mile Delivery — explained

Last-mile delivery is the final leg of a shipment’s journey — from the regional warehouse, distribution center, or sortation hub to the end customer’s door. It’s the most visible (and most expensive) step in any supply chain, and the one customers actually remember.

Who needs it

Best fit for

  • E-commerce brands that have outgrown carrier shipping but don’t want a fleet
  • 3PLs needing dedicated capacity for surge or scheduled routes
  • Furniture, mattress, and appliance retailers that need in-home placement
  • Big-box retailers offering same-day or next-day from local stores
  • Heavy & bulky shippers (treadmills, grills, fitness equipment) too big for parcel
Why a box truck wins

The structural advantage

  • Box trucks carry roughly 1,400–1,700 cu ft — about 12–18 standard pallets — far more than a cargo van or sprinter
  • 26-ft straight trucks deliver under a 26,000 lb GVWR, so they don’t require a CDL Class A driver
  • Lift-gate equipped — so big or heavy items unload at curb without a dock
  • City-friendly footprint — fits residential streets and most commercial dock heights
  • Cost per stop is dramatically lower than ground-parcel for items over 70 lbs

Common questions

Last-Mile Delivery FAQs

What's the typical last-mile delivery cost per stop?
Last-mile cost depends on stop density, weight, and access (curb vs. in-home). For a single dedicated stop in our PA/OH/NY/NJ service area, our box-truck rate typically falls between $85 and $185, with pricing dropping per stop on multi-stop dedicated routes. We send a fixed quote — no fuel surprises.
Do you handle in-home placement and unpacking?
Yes — request our white-glove tier. We bring the item into the room of choice, place it where the customer wants it, and (on request) remove packaging or haul away the old unit.
How fast can you pick up?
For routes inside the Erie / Cleveland / Buffalo / Pittsburgh triangle we frequently pick up same-day if the request comes in before noon ET. Philadelphia / NYC / Northern NJ runs are typically next-day pickup.
Do you provide proof of delivery?
Every delivery includes a timestamp, GPS location, photo of the placed item, and (for residential) the recipient’s signature or photo. POD is sent to your email or 3PL system the moment the run completes.
Can you integrate with our TMS or 3PL system?
Yes — for repeat shippers we accept loads via email, CSV, or basic TMS feed. For larger volume we can connect via standard load-tender formats. Ask us when you book.
